How long does a bespoke piece take to make? 

Depending on the complexity of the design, bespoke pieces take between 6 - 12 weeks from concept to completion. If you are in a hurry to get your piece for a certain deadline I can look at options to speed up the process to try to meet your deadline.  

Bespoke wedding bands generally take between 4 - 6 weeks so if possible please leave plenty of time before your big day.

Im interested in commissioning a bespoke engagement ring - Where do I start?  

Following your enquiry I can arrange for an initial consultation. The second step of the journey is a personal consultation either via zoom, telephone or in person, where we can discuss your ideas and budget. You can view my previous bespoke work here.

How much does a consultation cost? 

I offer a free initial consultation that will last around 30 minutes, this can be over the telephone, or by video link

How can I measure my finger size? 

I measure my clients finger at the initial consultation, but if you are not able to meet with me I recommend popping into your local jeweller to be professionally sized, most won’t mind doing this for you.

How much does a bespoke ring cost?

The cost of a ring will depend on the complexity of the design and the metals and gemstones used. Having a bespoke piece can seem expensive, but it doesn’t have to be: I don’t have a minimum charge and can work with you to create something truly special within your own budget.

Do I have to pay all at once? 

No you don’t. I usually ask for a small deposit of £100 to create the initial wax and then ask for a 50% deposit once the final design has been agreed and the remainder paid on completion.

Can I resize my ring? 

Yes, I offer a complimentary resizing service for all bespoke rings within a six month period of the ring being delivered. After the six months if you wish for the ring to be resized there will be a small fee of £50. If a piece is going up 2 or more sizes i will have to quote on a ring my ring bases to cover any addition metal costs.

Do you work with heirloom stones and gold?

Yes! I can work with you to create a new piece of jewellery from heirloom jewellery. This is a wonderful way to create something that is more your style while still preserving its sentimental value.

Can I return a bespoke piece?  

Bespoke pieces are not eligible for a refund, this is because they have been personalised and made bespoke for you.
